Our toy pom was severely injured by a much bigger husky -part wolf. I thought my little dog was going to die for sure. We ended up being advised to go to IronHorse Vet. Best place I could have taken her to. She is recovering very well. I live about 2.5 -3 hours from the hospital. Well worth the trip. THANK YOU IRONHORSE VET HOSPITAL.

There are not enough words in this world that I can give to express my appreciation to Dr. Kim, Dr. Henderson, and Dr. Doerr for taking amazing care of my sweet boy.I spent three sleepless days of frantically searching for answers for my cat, who was not eating properly. After running every diagnostic in the book, waiting for ultrasounds, going to multiple vets all across East Bay, it finally came back that he had a GI blockage. I was horrified, having one cat already pass away due to similar issues in the past, I immediately knew that blockages were incredibly dangerous but I also knew that associated surgery would be harsh and expensive. But we were lucky to catch it early when it was still in the stomach, so there was a chance we could still scope it.The other vet we saw - at another emergency clinic - was unable to do the endoscope. Due to his smaller size and the object size through the ultrasound. She suggested a full surgery instead, but I was hesitant about immediately jumping into surgery as the first option since it was still in his stomach. I made the call to go to Ironhorse because I know that their team were most likely better equipped for things like this.In came Dr. Kim. She swooped in on a Sunday. Her experience in this field is truly a gem. Two hours later with the scope, she had managed to remove the object and save my kitty's life without even needing to cut him open. She took out a marble sized hairball from his stomach (which she told me she usually isn't able to do easily, since fibrous materials are difficult to grasp with the scope). They told me he could even go home the same day. A big shout out to Dr. Henderson for taking care of my sweet boy and keeping an eye on him as we waited for the endoscope (plus taking care of him afterward, and for giving us the hope and energy that he would make this through alright), and a big shout out to Dr. Doerr for seeing us that first night when I came in in the middle of the night with compassionate words and supportive care.I will forever be grateful to Dr. Kim and the entire team for being with us through this whole process.

Our dog had cancer. IronHorse Vet Care was very responsive, informational, and sensitive to our situation. They provided options for treatment and also followed up with us after we decided a more permanent solution that reaffirmed our decision and choice. Very professional and compassionate.
